This is my German Christmas report. Here is the Christmas market in Marien Platz. The building in the picture is Munich city hall, the landmark of the city.
クリスマス前日。マリエンプラッツ（広場）はクリスマスマーケットで賑わっています。写真に見える大きな建物はミュンヘンシティーホール、街のシンボルです。
In the Christmas market, you can buy sweets, Christmas decorations, fur prducts...etc. It seems typical that people drink hot wine in the market, so I followed others. It was tasy, but very strong! I nearly fainted during shopping.
マーケットでは、クリスマスのデコレーション、お菓子、毛皮製品、、、あらゆるものが売られています。
At home, Jakob and Christian cut the Christmas tree. Jakob showed me how sharp the blade is and said "Keep your finger back, because it's dangerous if you touch it. Oh, I'll leave it a bit far away from you so that you won't get hurt."What a sweet 3 years old! I love his way of saying things.
家では、ヤコブ君とクリスチャンがクリスマスツリーをのこぎりでギコギコ。ヤコブ君が得意気に刃を見せてくれました。「さわると危ないから、手はしまっておいてね。あっ、yasuyoが怪我しないようにちょっと離しておいておくね。離れてみるんだよ。」ヤコブ君の優しい気遣いには、いつも心温まります。
We enjoyed decorating the tree. Iris told me that in German family, how to decorate the tree can be a big issue. People seem to discuss seriously in what color tree should be decorated mainly. In my German family, we decided to put all the decoration we have. Very simple and peaceful!
みんなでデコレーションを楽しみました。ドイツでは、ツリーを主に何色で飾るかは大きな問題だそう。各家族真剣に話しあい、時にはけんかの種にもなるようです。私たちは、シンプルに「あるものすべて飾ろう！」ということで平和に解決しました。
After attending a mass at the church, we exchanged the presents. Look how beautifully we decorated the tree! Everybody put the presents under the Christmas tree. Giant amount of presents!
教会でミサに出席した後は、プレゼントの交換。みんなクリスマスツリーの下に、贈る人の名前を書いたプレゼントを並べます。子供たちは待ちきれない様子。
Now the highlight of the day for everyone!
待ちに待った瞬間。みんな興奮しすぎて、声も出ません。
How fun it was to open the presents! I got a daily pad calender for German learners, warm wool cover for hot water bottle, baucher for facilities in Munich, huge match box with beautiful Munich painting, and a red toy bus which I've dreamed to have!!;-) This bus looks so cool with pretty flower paintings. One day, I'll show it to you.
大人にとってもなんて楽しい瞬間でしょう。私のプもらったレゼント；ドイツ語学習日めくりカレンダー、湯たんぽのウールのカバー、ミュンヘン美術館等施設のバウチャー、ミュンヘンの絵のついた巨大マッチ、そして夢に見ていた「レッドバス」！おもちゃのバスですが、バスのヒッピー風のペイントがとても素敵なのです！
My German Christmas at home was so "Gemutlich" (comfortable). Here, Jakob and Iris looking at Christmas figures. It was such a peaceful day! I wish everybody the nice Christmas holidays!
