In between practicing materials, we are busy thinking and discussing what we can make by ourselves when we open our own school in the future. Definitely we can make aprons!
In the classroom, children as well as adults wear an apron quite often. The activities with water, or polisher have an apron already in the material box. The purposes of having an apron are protecting clothes from getting dirty, and guiding the child with its color. For example, table washing activity has a blue mat, blue jug, blue basins and a blue apron. When the child needs to replace the wet towel, he can easily recognize which towel to take. Color helps the child to get oriented in the classroom.
試験勉強の合間、「将来自分の園を立ち上げる際、（費用節約のため）買わなくてもいいもの」について友人とディスカッション。リスト一番目に上がったのが、エプロン。今日はモンテッソーリ園にあるエプロンについて記録を残しておこうと思います。
モンテッソーリのクラスでは、大人も子供も、エプロンを身につける機会が沢山あります。エプロンの第一の目的はアクティビティーで服を汚さないため、もう一つはエプロンの色で子供を導くこと。例えば、靴磨きのお仕事では、オレンジのマット、オレンジのスポンジ、オレンジのタオル、そしてオレンジのエプロンを使います。タオルが汚れて取り換えたいとき、大人に聞かなくてもどのタオルと取り換えたらいいのか分かるようになっています。
In my training center, there are several kinds of children's & adults' aprons. My friend and I found it nice to have different kinds of aprons in the classroom as child gets to know different ways of fastening or tying, and they are merely pretty and at least I get motivated to wear it!
私の通っているトレーニングセンターには色々な種類の子供用エプロンがあります。ボタンでとめるもの、紐を結ぶもの、バリーエーションがあればあるほど、子供たちの刺激になりそうです。また、デザインが素敵なもの、色がきれいなものは、大人の私でも思わず手にとって着てみたくなってしまいます。
This is the basic apron for children. Each activity has different color: red, yellow, blue, green, purple, white...etc. I like seeing colours in the classroom.
一番ベーシックな形のエプロン。教室には赤、黄、緑、青、オレンジ、白、紫のエプロンがあります。鮮やかな色は教室に、また子供たちにエネルギーをあたえているようです。

Very basic shape, but beautiful pattern on it. I'm already excited to make an apron with Japanese traditional patterns when I get home.

The measurement of first 3 are for children, and the last one (right bottom one) is for adult.
