Today I got my second last lesson of yoga as my dearest teacher is leaving Japan in two weeks. She gave me her painting with these words as a present to me, so I'd like to share it with you.

I recently stumbled across your blog and I am wondering where abouts in Saitama you are. I am not Montessori trained like yourself, I ended up doing a online course to learn more and because there was no Montessori near where we live. We are near Ageo/Omiya.

Thank you for commenting. I live in Kawaguchi( the nearest JR station is Higashi-Urawa/Kawaguchi). There is no Montessori schools in my area as well, so I'd like to start one in my farm:-)
Wow, it would be great to have a school on a farm :o)
There are 3 Montessori schools in the Urawa area, I have friends who have kids that go to 2 of them but they are all too far for us to commute to.

I've just had an gathering of parents and children in my farm and decided to start Montessori Saturday class once a month:-)
If you live close by, you are very welcome to join us or come to see the class.
I would love to come down sometime, my son has football club on a a Saturday but once a month his dad has to work so he misses football, maybe we could come down that day. I am just in the process of setting up a new Montessori blog, I will let you know when it is ready. You can contact me at
